Celebrating the Colours, Culture and Charm of the Valley!

Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka, celebrated “Kashmir: Heritage Day” on 4 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour. The vibrant celebration offered students a captivating glimpse into the rich traditions, colourful attire, soulful music and graceful folk heritage of Kashmir.

Students of Classes III to V brought the spirit of the Valley to life through a traditional Kashmiri attire ramp walk, a melodious group song and an energetic dance performance. Dressed in beautiful Kashmiri costumes, the young performers won the hearts of the audience with their confidence, creativity and enthusiasm.

Adding warmth and joy to the celebration, teachers, especially those hailing from Kashmir, joined the festivities with a lively dance performance. The participation of the Principal Ma’am made the occasion even more memorable and strengthened the spirit of unity and togetherness.

The celebration was a wonderful blend of learning, cultural expression and joyful participation. It encouraged students to appreciate India’s rich diversity and cherish the beauty of its shared cultural heritage.

“From the valleys of Kashmir to the hearts of our students — celebrating heritage, harmony and unity!”
